Creatrix Tiara is a writer, performance artist, media-maker and producer based in Melbourne, Australia. Most of Tiara's work has to do with being a queer immigrant gender-nonconforming femme of colour with mental health issues. Creatrix Tiara's explored comedy in writing and performance, whether directly or as part of more complex pieces. Tiara has trained and performed with Edge Improv in Brisbane as well as Gaggle in Melbourne. Tiara's current major project is Queer Lady Magician, a stage magic and storytelling show that puts contemporary political spins on classic magic tricks while also exploring impostor syndrome and fear of failure. Creatrix Tiara's life is pretty much emblematic of "if you wanna make God laugh then all you have to do is tell him your plans".
