My Life Recording the Beatles (Excerpt from Chapter 13: “Unfortunately the Tapes Are Destroyed”)
It had been about three weeks of increasingly nasty slip-ups but perhaps now the jig was finally up.
Dan Arnés is a multi-disciplinary artist (filmmaker/ composer/ writer/ actor) based in Brooklyn, NY. His work has recently appeared in The Museum of Modern Art and on projects for Global Citizen, Blue Man Group and the Tony award winning musical Come From Away to name a few. Nerdist called his video work, “The perfect cocktail of surreal madness… and definitely ridiculous.” Most recently he composed the music for Artful Practices for Well Being; a series of audio meditation stops in-gallery at MoMA. He wrote the original score and was a voice actor in the animated series pilot “TWINS,” directed by Mike Luciano and Phil Matarese (HBO’s Animals), which was recently given a series order by Fox. He’s currently in post-production on “Please Enjoy Your Stay,” an upcoming short film he wrote, produced and stars in. He’s also at work on a new recording project and a slew of other film/ video projects that he can’t talk about (he made himself sign an NDA).
