Jackie Bateman is the author of a dark and genre-bending trilogy. Venturing deep into the mind of serial killer in Scotland, Nondescript Rambunctious won a national first book contest. It was followed by sequels Savour and Straight Circles. Her YA novel Beauty and the Freak was a finalist with Screencraft Cinematic Book. In between scaring the shit out of people, she writes dramedy and comic essays.
