By day, I am a professor and librarian at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. I've written some books and other things and mostly they have something to do with TV. My work has appeared in such outlets as the Journal of Popular Film & Television, Critical Studies in Television, Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, and Camera Obscura: Feminism, Culture, and Media Studies. Like you, I also have a podcast. It's called Indoor Voices.
