Marcy has published humor in The McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Robot Butt, The Toast, Razed, and Electric Literature. Mostly, though, she writes books for kids from her bedroom closet-office. She has a picture book out from Penguin ("Adrian Simcox Does NOT Have a Horse"), a couple more coming from Little, Brown and Penguin, and a middle grade novel with Chronicle. So far, her books are all "serious." She hopes to change that some day.
