<p>Ah dear blog, its been too long.<br /><br />No I didn’t die. I wasn’t shamed by Mikey’s article. I liked that a lot actually.<br /><br />I’ve been busy. Too busy. I took 63 college kids to Atlanta and picked up the bar tab: 9 grand. Well…not me. My company did. After all the frivolity, I had to ride the bus back as chaperone. Last year I was one of those kids.<br />
<div style="clear:both;"></div>I went to Target tonight because I lost my nail clippers and my toes are tearing up my <a href="https://www.pointsincase.com/columns/mike/2-23-05.htm">Beech cotton sheets</a>. Nothing big. Except that affordable clippers are sold in the makeup section.<br />

<div style="clear:both;"></div>I may have gotten my first "real" job, but it hasn't made me a millioniare yet. You cut corners here you can, and for me, that means I still eat a lot of Ramen noodles.<br /><br />400 calories at 20 cents a pop. It's far from the healthiest thing, but it will keep you alive.
<p>It bothers me when things are labeled "100% all natural" like it's anything special.<br /><br />I recognize that I am not a scientist, I don't even watch the SciFi network. I really can't claim to know anything about anything when it comes to the sceintific.<br />

<div style="clear:both;"></div>Why is it that I feel so proud of myself if I can put together a full sentence when talking to my boss without sounding like an idiot?<br /><br />I'm a reasonably smart guy. I graduated from a Big 10 university. I'm an English major for pete's sake. But whenever I sit down for a meeting with him I feel like I sound like an idiot or blather and fumble for words.

It doesn’t matter if it’s the Kool-Aid brand or some knock off like Flavor-Ade, Aid de cool, Country time or government drink mix.<br />

Thought I'd share.<br /><strong></strong><br /><strong>Things I will watch:</strong><br />Every single fucking <em>Friends</em> rerun that is ever on.<br /><em>Law & Order:SVU.</em> I love losing faith in humanity hour by hour.
