Peggy Schimmelman is the poet laureate of Livermore, CA. In addition to satire and creative non-fiction, she is the author of two poetry chapbooks and a novel, Whippoorwills. Her work has appeared in North American Review, 100wordstories.org, Comstock Review, and many other print and online publications.
