Satan Is No Longer Accepting Firstborns
The first of your progeny is not your finest. They’re laden with flaws: entitlement, jealousy, anxiety, and approval-seeking tendencies.
Shatha Yas is a Palestinian comedian and humor writer, based in New York City. She can be seen performing stand-up around NY and writing sketch comedy for The Armory Comedy. Shatha grew up in the West Bank and has worked in foreign affairs for several years, so she knows too many depressing things about the world. She likes to joke about politics and social issues. Shatha has studied improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade (where she twice received the Diversity Scholarship), satire at The Second City, and acting at The Barrow Group. As much as she'd like to represent the entire Middle East, she currently only speaks for herself. She'd like to thank, first and foremost, the Wright brothers for making human flight possible.
