Paul Ryan Magazine
$5.00
By James Folta and Andrew Lipstein
With Washington in the thrall of a cabal of idiots and crooks, Paul Ryan is an armada of judgments, jabs, and jokes in the one vehicle politicians fear most: a parody magazine.
Product Description
Welcome to Paul Ryan, the unofficial magazine of the Speaker of the House, brought to you by the team behind The Neu Jorker.
More than 192 pages about Paul Ryan, this is also a parody about magazines. We're satirizing every glossy you find in your mailbox, at your doctor's office, at CVS: Muscle mags. Tabloids. Sports Illustrated. In-flight magazines and alumni magazines and High Times, Vanity Fair, Boys' Life, TV Guide, Architectural Digest, The New Yorker.
Co-author James Folta says, “Paul Ryan is the disease that made this [Washington] nightmare possible. Trump is, and always will be, a dark anomaly and a mistake. But Ryan is the fever. He left the gate unlocked with his cold triangulations towards power and a bastardized conservative wish list of fiscal goodies. Money is merit, after all. Never forget that Ryan’s favorite book is a dumpy work of fiction about industrialists overthrowing the government. His eyes roll back in his head as he fixates on the rivers of capital sloshing about.”
