BOOM! The poem(ish) is weeks old, the song years old, but it's all fresh to you! Plus, people still misuse "ironic" more than they use it properly, so it's all good!

Unironic

A too-young girl used a fake id,
Got in anyway 'cause she's pretty.
It's spilling a dry martini,
It's being alone when playing Wii,
It's not really that ironic, if you think about it.

It's like rain on the day of the parade
Only you don't care because it's a parade
It's finding out she's not a hooker when you go to pay,
These situations are entirely plausible.

A lot of people are scared to fly
Statistically, it's riskier to drive
But it's not as feared, I wonder why
Then I looked up "availability heuristic"
And thought, "hmmm, interesting."
And not particularly ironic, no.

On your wedding day it pours and pours,
The sky is filled with moldy spores,
And you think "that's why we had it indoors."
This is called foresight, and is helpful if you live in Seattle.

Sometimes good things happen,
Sometimes bad things happen,
Many times these things are interesting, or strange
It is, in fact, quite likely that many unlikely things will happen.

It's lying to your boss about why you're late
It's putting in your contacts for a blind date
It's getting a spoon when you would really prefer a fork, but it's OK because you're eating pie
It's buying overpriced All-Star tickets
Only to see it end in a tie
Ironic isn't really the word…Maybe unfortunate. Should we go with unfortunate? How about, "unfortunately coincidental."

It's like rain on the day of the parade

It's finding out she's not a hooker when you go to pay,
These situations are entirely plausible.

Sometimes good things happen,
Sometimes bad things happen.
"Unfortunately coincidental" isn't that catchy, is it.
